GenXtasi ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website genxtasi.com and the GenXtasi audio drama streaming service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our service you agree to the practices described here.

  • Account information — when you sign in via Manus OAuth we receive your name and email address.
  • Listening activity — episodes you play, your progress, favourites, and listening history so we can personalise your experience and resume playback.
  • Subscription data — your plan type and subscription status. Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are handled exclusively by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
  • Reviews and ratings — content you voluntarily submit on the platform.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected automatically via server logs and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the GenXtasi service.
  • To process subscription payments and manage your account.
  • To personalise content recommendations based on your listening history.
  • To send service-related communications (e.g. subscription receipts, expiry notices).
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled while you are logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Our analytics provider collects anonymised, aggregated page-view data to help us understand how the site is used. No personally identifiable information is included in these analytics.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's secure hosted checkout. GenXtasi never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or billing address. We retain only the Stripe Customer ID and Subscription ID necessary to manage your account.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Stripe — to process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Manus OAuth — to authenticate your account. We receive only your name and email from this service.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records related to payments). Anonymised listening statistics may be retained indefinitely.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS (HTTPS). We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted session tokens and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

GenXtasi is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
